ABOUT THERAPY

Making a decision to see a counsellor may feel like a big step. Thus, my main task is to build and maintain emotional safety in the counselling room – whether it's between us or between you and your partner, child or family member. This is how we get a healthy relationship experience. I value partnership as a principle of therapy, therefore I would try to understand your needs and learn about your ways of dealing with the difficulties – we will not ruin them, we will build upon them.

Therapy can be short-term (up to 10 sessions) or long-term. In both cases you decide when to finish. You can come alone (individual therapy), with your partner (couples therapy) or with the whole family (family therapy). Our meetings can take place in my counselling office or online.

The methods I use as a certified practitioner are gestalt therapy and couples & family therapy.

The beginning of the therapy can be preceded by a free (up to 20-minute) intro by phone or video.
